Students Supporting Israel Awarded the Boruchin Center Grant from Jewish National Fund-USA
Students Supporting Israel (SSI) is honored to announce that it has been awarded a grant from the Boruchin Center of the Jewish National Fund-USA, a leading philanthropic movement that builds a strong, vibrant future for the land and people of Israel through bold initiatives and Zionist education.
The generous grant will support SSI’s mission to be a clear and confident pro-Israel voice on college campuses and to support students in grassroots pro-Israel advocacy, as well assisting with enhancing engagement opportunities for young pro-Israel leaders. In addition, the grant will enable programs that will educate young Americans about the positive and beautiful aspects of Israel and Zionism, and counter the falsehoods spread across the academic community .
“The past year on college campuses, which has been characterized by unprecedented levels of anti-Israel protests, hate speech, and misinformation, shows just how strong the need for educational programs about Israel and Zionism are among college students,” said Ilan Sinelnikov, SSI’s Founder and President. “SSI operates chapters on more than 120 campuses across the country that serve as critical pro-Israel voices in their institutions. The Jewish National Fund-USA grant will allow our programs to grow their impact within existing chapters, in addition to expanding programs to new locations where we currently do not have a presence. We are thankful for this meaningful award at such a critical time.”
